PLASMAGE ® delivers plasma energy to the aimed at by the ionizing of ambient gas in the air. Plasma is delivered through a small probe or applicator. The probe is applied to the surface of the skin without direct contact as the plasma energy creates microinjuries. Because only highly focused dots of energy are applied to the treatment area, the skin undergoes a more rapid healing process. You may experience some redness for 24-48 hours but can resume regular activities embracing your revitalized appearance while the plasma energy beneath the skin's surface continues to exert its effects over time and provide longer lasting results.

Treatment sessions are relatively short. The procedure typically takes about 15 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated, and the overall treatment visit typically can be done within an hour.

We prioritize your comfort. As in the case with most device treatments, topical numbing cream or anesthetic is applied to the treatment area. Following the treatment, light cooling or RE|PAIR Skin Revitalizing Serum may be applied to the skin to reduce visible signs of inflammation and sooth the skin.

The device creates microthermal treatment zones; these small dots are visible immediately after the treatment and result in tiny scabs which gradually heal and fall off over the period of 7 – 10 days. Some swelling is also common after treatment, which may be more obvious on day two. The area treated may be tender for 1-4 days. Makeup can be used to cover any redness, once the skin has healed; this redness will typically resolve within 2 months.
